Nikki was born and raised in Bismarck, N.D,. and has provided compassionate care to families in Western and Midwestern communities since 1996. She attended Mt. Hood Community College, where she earned her degree in funeral service education. Her continued commitment to the funeral profession is reflected by maintaining her certification through the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice as a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner. Nikki takes pride in providing the utmost care to the families she serves and is committed to customizing each celebration of life so that it is special, meaningful, and personal. Nikki is active in women’s ministry and enjoys time spent with her husband, two daughters, and grandson.
Amanda became a licensed funeral director in 2017. She attended Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO, and did her internship at Barbot Funeral Home in Beulah, ND. Amanda has been with Weigel and Buehler-Larson since 2019. She was raised in Hazen, ND, where she and her husband, Eric, still reside. They have three grown children, Lawson, Lillian, and Leighla.
In 1998, Nathan became a licensed funeral director after attending the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and serving a one-year internship with Patton-Schad Funeral Service in Melrose/Sauk Centre, MN. He owned and operated Goetz Funeral Homes in Washburn, ND, for 16 years before passing the business along to an employee and joining the team at Weigel and Buehler-Larson in 2019. Nathan is a native of Hebron, ND, where he grew up and attended school. He is the proud father of four children, Brittan, Aaron, Reagan, and Macy.
Scott Huffman was born and raised in Dickinson, ND. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1999 and went on to Dickinson State University, where he played basketball. Scott graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago in 2005 and returned to North Dakota shortly after to begin his career as a Licensed Funeral Director. Scott moved to Mandan in the fall of 2010, when he joined the Weigel Funeral and Cremation Service team. Four years later, he joined the team at Buehler-Larson Funeral and Cremation Service.
Scott is very appreciative of the opportunity to care for families in their time of need. He is passionate about helping families honor their loved ones in meaningful ways. As each person is different, he believes each funeral should be personalized and memorable for every family. Scott also works with granite companies to create a lasting memorial that is uniquely special to each individual, couple, or family. Scott stays active playing with his two sons and enjoying softball and golf.
Tom’s passion for taking care of others in a time of need has been the focus throughout his more than 30 years in the funeral service. His desire to capture the essence of life and create the final memories brings true meaning to the people he serves.
Rachael is from Center, North Dakota. She grew up with four sisters and a brother, spending time at Lake Sakakawea in the summer and at Grandma and Grandpa’s house on the farm. Her best memories were made with her family as a kid.
Rachael chose this role at the funeral home to make a difference in people's lives. The peace of mind she can help provide for families is very important to her.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling. Her happy place is being in the warm sand with the sun and a breeze off of the ocean. She also likes horseback riding and is an Executive Director of the Mandan Rodeo Days Committee. Rachael has a significant other, two grown daughters and sons-in-law, a teenage son, and two beautiful granddaughters.
Libby (Yri) was born and raised on a farm near Minnewaukan, North Dakota. She is a proud 12-year veteran of the North Dakota Army National Guard. She spent 19 years farming near Hettinger, ND, and now resides in Bismarck. Libby has two married daughters and four grandchildren, with one more on the way in 2024.
Libby was called to this role at the funeral home after suffering several losses and felt the need to help others navigate through the grief journey.
Jessie was born and raised in Mandan, the daughter of Don & Valeri Entzel. She graduated from Mandan High School in 1999.
Jessie worked as a CNA and also as a personal banker before considering what she could offer to families in funeral service. Jessie joined the staff at Weigel Funeral Home in 2007. In 2010, Jessie became the Office Manager at Buehler-Larson Funeral and Cremation Service, working closely with Gary and Patricia Larson.
Jessie is committed to serving the families of Mandan and the surrounding area. She is dedicated to helping families personalize a meaningful service for their loved one. Her compassion, attention to detail, and relationship building with the families in and around Mandan make her a great asset to Buehler-Larson Funeral and Cremation Service.
Jessie is married to Bill and they have three sons, Kaden, Ryan, and Liam. In her spare time she enjoys baking, watching movies, spending time with family, and floating in her backyard pool.
Lainey is from Bismarck. Her past work experience includes hospitality and customer service. She’s always had an interest in funeral service and feels that this role is a wonderful way to serve her community. She hopes to provide families with a sense of ease and is honored to help celebrate their loved ones. Outside of work, Lainey enjoys reading, painting, and crafting.
