Darlene Germain went to her heavenly home on September 5, 2022, at the age of 69.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 12:30 PM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Darlene was born in Altona, Manitoba, Canada on July 27, 1953, to Abe and Tina Friesen. Darlene was the baby of the family, and only girl, with three older brothers Larry, Harvey, and Stanley Friesen. She grew up on a farm near Sewell, Manitoba and later in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Darlene was an accomplished piano player in her younger years, always loved a good conversation, and had a great laugh.

Darlene is survived by her husband Patrick Germain of Bismarck, North Dakota; her daughter Leslee Webb, son-in-law Travis Eggie, and children Hudson and Harper Eggie; her son Aaron Webb, daughter-in-law, Stephanie Webb, and his children Zachary, Mikka, and Alexis Webb; step-daughter Patty and her husband Paul Durbin and children Noah (Raen), Sophia, Chloe, and Samuel Durbin; step-daughter Shara and her husband Brad Benson and children Braden, Brexton, and Breyah Benson; step-daughter Julie and her husband Brian Wissink and children Blake, Abby, and Faith Wissink; her brother Harvey and wife Maxine Friesen and children Jeff, Trevor, and Shelley Thompson; Stanley and wife Anna Friesen; sister-in-law Caroline Friesen and children Lara and Stuart Friesen; along with various Germain family members. Darlene was predeceased by parents Abe and Tina Friesen, and her brother Larry Friesen.
