Tracy L. Engelhorn, 49, Bismarck, passed away August 31, 2016 at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
Tracy Holsti was born on August 12, 1967 to Lester and Carol (Seidel) Holsti in Bismarck. As a young girl Tracy and her mother would often watch "Dark Shadows". She was raised and educated in the Bismarck/Mandan area graduating from Mandan High School as the youngest in her class. Tracy attended North Dakota State University and Dickinson State University ultimately receiving a Bachelors degree in Business. Tracy met Brian Engelhorn in 1992 and together they were married in 2008. Their son Devin was the highlight of Tracy's life as well as her dog Jasmine and cat Stormie.
Tracy was proud of her home which she recently purchased. She loved music and always made time to attend concerts. She was outgoing and easily met people; however, she also cherished her privacy.
Tracy will be deeply missed by her significant other Rick Marschner, Bismarck ND; former spouse Brian Engelhorn, Mandan, ND; son Devin Engelhorn, Bismarck ND; mother Carol Holsti, Rapid City, SD; sister Toni (Keith) Radomski, Mandan ND; nieces Shelby (John) Boehm and Ashlee (Dan) Hamann; grandmother Irene Holsti; and special friends Jackie Weinberger, Shelley Licht, Denise Zeigler, Justin Schmaltz, Bill Hellman, Codi Olsen, and Tom Kloster.
Tracy was preceded in death by her grandparents Carl and Antonia Seidel and August Holsti; and father, Lestor Holsti.
