Todd Bornemann

Todd Bornemann, 51, Center, ND, died May 15, 2014, at Sanford Health in Bismarck.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, May 19, 2014, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hannover, ND, with Rev. Russ Fitch officiating. Burial will be at the Hannover Cemetery following the service.

Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 pm on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hannover, ND. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Todd was born on August 9, 1962, to Dale and Lois (Hintz) Bornemann in Bismarck, ND. He was raised and educated in the Center and Hannover areas graduating from Center High School in 1980. Todd went on to Wahpeton State School of Science. He was owner/operator and partner with Rick Henke of Center Machine. He married Stacey Pfleger in 1988 in New Salem, ND.

Todd was an avid motorcyclist and liked to ride with his friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed holidays and family events, but Todd’s greatest love was spending time with his son, Tylyn. Todd was always willing to take time to help other people if needed. Todd was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hannover and was also a member of the Advisory Board at Sitting Bull College.

Todd will be deeply missed by his son, Tylyn, Center; parents, Dale and Lois; sisters, Lisa (Glenn) Gerving, Glen Ullin, ND, Lora (Bryant) Voegele, Glen Ullin, ND, Cindy (Dale) Berg, Hannover, ND, and Cindy (Rick) Aaser, Hannover, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Todd was preceded in death by his brother, Clay, and his grandparents Christian and Hattie Bornemann and Otto and Mabel Hintz.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Square Butte Pheasants Forever, 4425 Hannover Road, Hannover, ND, 58563 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
