Tom was born February 2, 1960 to Albert and Florence (Berger) Weinberger in Mandan where he was raised and educated. He worked with his dad for many years at their septic tank cleaning and plumbing business, which he was very proud to do alongside his dad. He married Marie Mattson on May 17th 1986 in St. Anthony. Together they started raising beef cattle, milking cows, and farming. He loved to watch the little calves grow and change over the summer. For the past 24 years he has worked at Western Steel and Plumbing in Bismarck. Tom liked to watch the Minnesota Vikings and going to a Twins game, but his most cherished memory's was the time spent hunting and fishing with his three kids along the banks of the Little Heart River where in the fall they would have a big buck contest to see who would get the biggest deer. Tom’s greatest pride and joy in life came from his two grandchildren Logan and Rylie. He loved to spoil them with lots of candy, toys and even a couple of goats and a pony. He loved taking Logan to bull riding events, and spending as much time possible with them. Toms family always came first and for most in his life and he would do anything for them.
Tom will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years, Marie; daughter, Stephanie (Travis) Schmidt, Solen, ND; sons, Tom, and Jacob (special friend, Lynn Steinmetz), both of Mandan, ND; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Rylie Schmidt, his mother, Florence Weinberger, Mandan, ND; his sister, Joell (Ben) Schmidt, Flasher, ND; and nieces and nephews, Brad (Kameron) Schmidt, Ashley (Lance) Rossow and Amber (Marcus) Knoll along with several great-nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Albert, and his grandparents.
