Thomas Fasching, 62, Mandan, passed away January 30, 2017 at his residence in Mandan.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with Deacon Steve Brannon officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Tom was born on April 20, 1954 to Earl and Vernette (Smith) Fasching in Dickinson, ND. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in New England, ND. Tom worked for Job Corp after high school. In 1975 he moved to Mandan where he worked various jobs. Tom married Teri Marsyla in December of 1982, they later divorced. He enjoyed his work at Bismarck-Mandan Pizza Huts, where he started as a deliver person and cook, later becoming manager.
Tom lived an active lifestyle and enjoyed playing golf, football, basketball and softball; he was a member of the Pizza Hut Softball Team for a number of years. He also enjoyed fishing on the Missouri River and spent countless hours at Eckroth Bottoms which was his favorite place to fish.
Tom will be deeply missed by his significant other, Peggy Vaagen, Mandan, ND; sons, Jason (Tiffany) Fasching, Billings, MT and Nicholas Fasching, Mandan, ND and his daughter, Charli Fasching, Mandan, ND; 1 grandson, Gotham Fasching; brothers, Richard and Timothy Fasching both of Portland, OR.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Vernette and sister, Elizabeth.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
