Shirley Nagel

Shirley Ann (Schumaker) Nagel, 69, passed away March 1, 2018, at Benedictine Living Center, Garrison ND.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Trisha DeBoeher officiating.  Burial will be held at Union Cemetery, Trygg Township, Wing, ND.

Cremation has taken place and no visitation will be held.

Shirley was born on January 19, 1949, in Fargo to Adeline Schumaker.  She grew up and graduated in Streeter, ND.  She owned the Chat-N-Chew Café in Wing, and spent much of her free time doing needle point and reading.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Shawn) Souther and Julie (Toby) Hauck; her son, Dwayne Nagel; her grandchildren, Allison, Matthew, Hunter and Lilly; her sisters, Denise Stoddard and Brenda Johnson; brother, Darryl Schwarz; and many special friends she has made over the years, especially JoAnn Braun.

She is preceded in death by her mother, sister and life companion, Dale (Sam) Siirtola.
