Sherri M. Garr, 51, Mandan, died October 8, 2016 at Baptist Health Care Center in Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Salvaraj Periannan as celebrant. Inurnment will be at Fisher Cemetery, Tappen ND.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home with a Rosary and Parish Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Sherri was born on January 22, 1965 to Alfred & Doris (Bidwell) Bitz in Lodi California. Sherri married Neil J. Garr on July 27, 2003 in Bismarck.
Sherri will be deeply missed by her husband of 13 years Neil; daughter Kasandra Hjertaas and Fiancé Peter Denault, Mandan ND; son, Fred Palmer, Mandan ND; grandchild Blaise Denault; step mother Mabel Cook, Steele ND; father Alfred Bitz, Tappen ND, sister Terry (Ron) Geffre, Lawton OK, and Rosanne Erickson, Mandan ND; former husband Anton Hjertaas; and nieces, nephews, aunts, and one uncle.
Sherri was preceded in death by her son Alan Palmer and her mother Doris.
