Sharon Ann Bullinger, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away at her home on December 29, 2024.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Parish Rosary & Vigil at 3 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Sharon was born March 12, 1944, in Mandan. She was raised on a farm near Center, ND and attended high school in New Salem, ND. Upon her graduation from high school, Sharon moved to Mandan where she met George Bullinger, and they were wed on October 12, 1963. The following year, Troy and Wesley were born, but due to complications at birth they passed away. In 1966, Darin was born followed by Kent in 1967.
Sharon enjoyed traveling, cooking, and gardening. It was no secret that her true love was going to her sons’ sporting events throughout the year. Later in life her focus was spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her husband, George Bullinger; sons, Darin (Jodi) Bullinger and Kent Bullinger; grandchildren, Luke Bullinger, Jordan Bullinger, Harper Bullinger, and Kashton Bullinger; sisters, Kathy (Bob) Geiger and Deb (Tim) Erhardt; and brother, Ron (Sharon) Mosbrucker.
Sharon was preceded to heaven by her sons, Troy and Wesley Bullinger; parents, Floyd and Cecelia (Hatzenbuhler) Mosbrucker; and sister, Janet Doll.
