Russell Ressler, 57, of Mandan, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, family member, and Friend (just a few titles he had) was called to his eternal resting place on January 14, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.
Russell Wade Ressler entered this world November 8, 1966, in Mandan, North Dakota, gifting Lenard and Bernice Ressler with a blonde haired, blue eyed boy, full of spirit. Russ was the life of the party, he was the spark that ignited every gathering. His presence like bursts of fireworks and his wit kept you on your toes. He had a funny way of making you laugh with his jokes and stories turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.
His professional work life he was a jack of all trades such as his father. He worked in the roofing industry for a majority of his life but also did construction, and ended his working career in the union working at power plants. He enjoyed building and demolishing things, working on cars, camping and fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
He left behind his mother, Bernice Ressler; daughter, Jazmine Ressler; granddaughter, Octavia Ressler-Rosalez; son, Jesse Turner; nieces, Amanda Kraft and Megan Perry; nephew, John Muhlhauser; three beautiful great-nieces, long term partner Jessica Frasier and so many more family and friends.
Russ's father Lenard Ressler; brothers, Randy Ressler and Mark Muhlhauser; sister-in-law Cindy Muhlhauser; best friend, Todd Friesz, and many more will be welcoming him to the after party in heaven. He will be deeply missed leaving an empty place without him here; but he wanted his memory to live on through all the stories and experiences he had with each of you.
The family will be having a celebration of life and scattering of his ashes later this year when the weather is nicer.
