Preston Chance Lang, 20, Bismarck, passed away July 28, 2016 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Msgr. Chad Gion as celebrant.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Preston was born on July 27, 1996 to Charlie (Pfleger) Lang in Bismarck, ND. He was raised and educated in the Bismarck and Center areas. Preston was a gentle and loving soul with a big smile and a bigger heart. His family and friends were the most important things in his life and he showed them every day by leaving beautiful text messages, throwing hearts whenever he left them and always saying “ I love you more than air”, which he learned to say in different languages. Music, especially Rap and Dubstep and writing poetry were Preston’s love and he would use those to express his feelings. He enjoyed learning about World History and knew lots of random facts. Preston was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Preston will be deeply missed by his sisters, Billy Rae Lang, Mandan, ND, Taylor “Mokey” Stogner, Bismarck, ND; brothers, Shaun Lang (Alli Thompson), Mandan, ND Dallas Lang, Bismarck, ND; nieces, Kendra Lang and Charlene Lang and nephews, Chance Peltier, Cristian Villarreal, Charlie Lang and Easton Lang along with many other family members and friends.
Preston was preceded in death by his mother, Charlie Lang; grandparents, Irene and Pious Pfleger; brother, Manny Villarreal and cousin, Shawnrad Pfleger.
