Patty was born September 24, 1959, to Orville and Darlene (Henry) Hanson. She met the love of her life, Rocky Erhardt, in 1973, and they were married on July 15, 1977.
Patty was a caring and wonderful wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, sister in-law, auntie, and friend. She always had a smile, even when she was hurting. When Patty would enter a room it would just light up, especially when she was around her grandbabies. Christmas was her special holiday from decorating the inside of her house with 4 Christmas trees and all of her posable figures and stuffed animals to helping do the decorations outside and the love of her snowman. She was a past Deputy Grand Regent for the Women of the Moose Chapter #1374. Patty loved camping and would go all year round as long as weather permitted!
Patty will be deeply missed by her husband of 45 years, Rocky Erhardt, Mandan; son, James Erhardt and his daughter, Angela; daughter, Jennifer Erhardt and her kids, Jaeyden and her son, AJ; and Alesha and Sam Bitz; daughter, Jessica (Chris) Ogden and their son, Chaske; her sister, Janelle (Dale) Spitzer and their kids, Kaleb and Kendra; her brother, Roger Hanson; in-laws, Rodney (Pam) Erhardt, Russell (Betty) Erhardt, Karla Erhardt, and Ramona Engelhard (Lance Wescom); numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as special friends, Darlene Dillmann and Brenda Markham.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Orville “Ole” and Darlene Hanson; in-laws, Jack and Marcella Erhardt; sister, Pam Boehm and brother-in-law, Clarence Boehm; her special daughter-in-law, Carrie Erhardt; brother-in-law, Roger Erhardt; her three granddaughters, Abigail, Angel, and Kylie; along with her grand dog, Buddy (her protector); as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
“I love you to the moon and back” was a special saying her and Rocky had between each other.
