Nevada Lee Magilke, 23, Bismarck, died March 21, 2014 at his residence in Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Chris Kadramas as celebrant.
Inurnment will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Lark at a later date.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, with a Parish Rosary/ Vigil at 7:00 pm.
Nevada was born on April 18, 1990 to Kenten Magilke and Leah (Monzelowsky) Magilke in Bismarck. He was raised and educated in the Flasher and Lark areas, graduating from Bismarck High School. Nevada worked for Knife River doing construction work as a cement finisher. He was a kind and generous soul and always put a positive spin on life. Nevada was free spirited and he would openly express his love and admiration to his friends and family. His carefree smile and live for today attitude will be missed by his many friends and loving family. Nevada enjoyed horses, rodeo, especially bareback riding, hunting but his favorite thing was family gatherings especially during the holidays.
Nevada will be deeply missed by his father, Kenten and stepmother, Lisa Magilke, Menoken; mother, Leah Magilke, Bismarck; sister, Tara (Casey) Gustafson, Portland, OR; brother, Levi (special friend, Cassi Brooks), Shields, ND step-sisters, Kelsey (Tyson) Lerfald, Fargo and McKinzy (Lance) Piatz, Lincoln, ND; grandparents, Maggie Monzelowsky, Mandan and Kenny Magilke, Fort Rice, ND; step-grandfather, Florian Bauman, Strasburg, ND and niece, Ashlynn Lerfald.
Nevada was preceded in death by grandmother, Susie Magilke; grandfather, Paul Monzelowsky and step-grandmother, Kathy Bauman.
