Mary Simson, 95, Mandan, died November 28, 2013 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Shane Campbell as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Catholic Daughter’s Rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Mary was born May 7, 1918 in Mandan, ND to Nick and Albertina (Stumpf) Berger. She was raised and educated in Mandan graduating from Mandan High School in 1936. Mary worked for Central Drug and Marv’s Hardware for many years.
Mary will be deeply missed by her daughter, Anita (John) Kavali, 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and brother, John Berger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Betty and sister-in-law, Ida Berger.
