Raised and educated in Mandan, a town she adored. Mary Ann attended St. Joseph’s Grade School and Mandan High School, graduating in 1959. She attended the University of Mary in Bismarck and St. Joseph’s School of Practical Nursing in Dickinson. Mary Ann lived in Mandan all but 10 years of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Women of the Moose, and Sanford Hospital Auxiliary.

Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, rummage sales, planning class reunions, and trips to Medora. She loved Elvis, Winnie the Pooh, music, and the Fourth of July. Her favorite days were those spent with the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Lindsy and Gabe.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Sue Morrison and Kathy (Tim) Dawson; grandchildren, Lindsy and Gabe Dawson; sister, Debbie Miller; nieces and nephews, Sandy, Cheryl, Nancy, Steve, and Bruce (Nauman), Kelly, Bryan, and Tom (Kenna); and sister-in-law, Karel (Morrison) Kenna.
