Marvin A. Boehm, 79, of rural, west Mandan, passed away with family present March 22, 2018 after being anointed by his parish priest, Father Nick Schneider.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Nick Schneider as celebrant. Interment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Marvin loved his church, farming and ranching, his pets and was an amazing cook. He attended St. Joseph Elementary School and Mandan High School. He served six years in the North Dakota National Guard working as an airplane mechanic. One of the highlights at this time was learning to fly an airplane which also became a passion for him throughout his life. He will be deeply missed as a very caring, giving brother and friend.
Marvin will be deeply missed by his family, Adeline (Lee) Klapprodt, Roby, Francy (John) Kowalski, Frank, Chip (Tom) Liebel and Bryan: and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam F. and Eleanor V. Boehm; and brother, Celest.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan.
