Margaret Lipp, 91, Mandan, died December 10, 2014 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Msgr. Chad Gion as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Margaret was born on September 27, 1923 to Phillip and Rosa (Hatzenbuhler) Mosbrucker in Center, ND. Margaret met the love of her life, Martin and they were married on April 14th, 1942. Their union brought six children into the world, Jeanette, Diane, Martin Jr., Jerome, Debbie and Allen.
Margaret loved many things. She loved to crochet and her hands created thousands of doilies. In her younger years, she loved to garden around her house, babysit her grandchildren, and be with her family. She also loved playing Bingo, listening to polka music, and watching game shows on TV. Many will remember Margaret as a woman of faith. She loved being surrounded by her angels and prayed her rosary every night. Margaret lived a long and beautiful life. She wasn’t afraid to go with the Lord and her love for her family will live on forever.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her daughters, Jeannette Doll, Mandan, ND, Diane (Ray) Theurer, Belvidere, IL and Debbie Tischmak, Sauk Rapids, MN; sons, Martin, Jr. and Allen (Linda) both of Mandan; daughter-in-law, Lynette Lipp, Mandan, ND; grandchildren, William (Marsha) Hayek, Bernie Hayek, Mark (Shari) Theurer, Missy (Kyle) Enzminger, Ray (Cheryl) Theurer, Brian Theurer, Justin Lipp, Brandon Lipp, Amber (Jeremy) Sarder, Ashley (Jake) Meierhofer, Brittany (Joey) Schwecke, Marshall Lipp, Angie (Dane) Gittel, Cassandra Lipp and Michael Lipp; 16 great- grandchildren and 12 great-great- grandchildren; sisters Fran and Minnie; brothers Jack, Lawrence and Tony along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Mosbrucker; father, Phillip Mosbrucker; husband, Martin Lipp; son, Jerome Lipp; sons-in-law Tom Doll and Darrell Tischmak; sisters, Eva, Mary and Isabelle and brothers, Clemence, Matt, Phillip and Ralph. Margaret touched many lives and she will continue to spread her love, even after she has gone.
