Lorraine Kastrow, 90, Mandan, died September 30, 2015 at Sanford on Sunset Care Center in Mandan.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Rev. Christina Martin officiating. Burial will be at Fair Hill Cemetery in Flasher, ND following the funeral service. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service.
Lorraine was born on October 4, 1924 to Walter and Ida (Nydigger) Wagy in Shields, ND. She was raised and educated in the Shields area. Lorraine married Alfred Bornhoeft and to that union 3 children were born, Rosemary, Robert and Charles. She later married Hilbert Kastrow.
Lorraine will be deeply missed by her grandson; DuWayne Bornhoeft; sister, Darlene Schmidt, Bismarck; brothers Arnold Wagy, Mandan, Bernard Wagy, Shields, Paul Wagy, Albert and Don Wagy, Glen Ullin.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents and her children.
