Lorene M. Andrews, 86, Bismarck, died February 1, 2015 at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Charity Lutheran Church, Bismarck, ND with Rev. Scott Bauman officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck, ND following the funeral service.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Parkway Funeral Home, Bismarck with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Lorene was born on May 2, 1928 to August and Edith (Domres) Kuball in Dresden, ND. She was raised and educated in the Dresden and Cavalier, ND areas. Lorene graduated from Miss Wood's Primary Training School in 1948 after which she taught kindergarten in Crookston, MN. She married Lyle D. Andrews on August 4, 1949 in Cavalier, ND. They moved to the Bismarck area where she got her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1974 and went on to teach in the Bismarck School System for 13 years at Rita Murphy Elementary and Grimsrud Elementary teaching 5th and 6th grades.
Lorene will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years, Lyle, Bismarck, ND; daughter, Patricia Lu (Kenneth) Jorgensen, Newport, NH; son, James (Georgeann), Bismarck, ND; son-in-law, Gary Gilbert, Boise, ID; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Leone Kuball, Fargo, ND.
Lorene was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharen Lee Gilbert; brothers, Elmer Kuball and Arthur as an infant.
