Lois Kasper

Lois Kasper, 89, passed away on October 16, 2022, at Miller Pointe Community in Mandan, ND.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. Burial will be at 12:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 PM with a Rosary/Parish Vigil beginning at 7:00 PM.

Lois was born October 1, 1933, in Wahkon, MN, the daughter of Max and Helen (Benson) Addington. She resided in MN, CA and Mandan where she lived for over 60 years. 

Lois was united in marriage to Thomas (Duggie) Kasper in Bismarck on September 1, 1956. Together they raised five children who were the joys of her life.

Lois was a stay-at-home mother when her children were young. She returned to the workforce and retired as a Deputy Clerk of Court for Morton County. She was a proud member of the Friday Lunch Bunch for over 30 years, ladies bowling league and bridge club.

Lois loved time with her children and grandchildren, camping and holidays.  Her home was always decorated for Christmas and the gathering place for family and friends. 

Left with lasting memories and love for Lois are her three sons & daughters-in-law; Don (Cindy), Jim (Chris), Bruce (Genia), all of Bismarck; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sue (Jim) of Hudson WI and Karla of Mukwonago WI. Grandchildren; Cordell (Lauren), Kelsey (Liz), Kyle, Stacy, Brad, Layton, Cristie (Justin), Theo (Crystal), Katie, Matt, Kayla (Zeb), Sarah (Joe), Amanda (Sean) & Rachel (Ricky). Great Grandchildren; Brooklyn, Haley, Jaden, Easton, Liam, Brooklyn & Laiken.  Her cousin Jim (Phyllis) Faue & very special friend Mary (Curt) Hannaman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
