Lillian Ruff

Lillian K. Ruff, 81, Mandan, passed away on May 27, 2018 at Library Square in Mandan.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 01, 2018 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Rev. Travis Kadrmas officiating.  The family will hold a private inurnment at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan with a prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at Weigel Funeral Home.

Lillian Ruff was born on October 25, 1936 in Linton, ND to Joe and Mary Horner (Kelsch).

Lillian was a waitress at Dakota Farms for 35 years; here she met many people and would often have coffee at Dakota Farms with her friends.  Lillian loved hobbies that included arts and crafts; she particularly enjoyed bead work and making ornaments.

Family was central to her life; she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lillian will be deeply missed by her daughter, Vickie Voegele, Mandan, ND; son, Doug (Brenda) Ruff, Billings, MT; step-daughter, Debbie (Ken) Dosch, Maddock, ND; 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Donavan, Tanya (Travis), Shawn (Rashell); 4 step grandchildren, Faith, Charity, Katie, and Mali; 6 great-grandchildren, Kameron, Brylee, Jordan, Avery, Isaiah, and Axeton; sister, Betty Kay and brother, Wilbert Horner, both of Billings, MT.

Lillian was preceded in death by her special friend, Cal Pederson; ex-husband Sonny Ruff; her parents, Joe and Mary Horner; sisters, Rosemary, Leona, and Alvina; and brother, Clarence.
