Kathleen R. Wilson, 53, Mandan, died January 20, 2016 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Rev. Walter Schott Officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am at Weigel Funeral Home.
Kathleen was born on April 30, 1962 to Raymond P. and Evelyn (Gleich) Wilson in Bismarck, ND. She was raised and educated in the Bismarck area. Kathy met Cory Kraft in 1981, she instantly became the love of his life. She was everything to her daughter Holly and son Joseph. Kathleen worked at the 7 Seas as a waitress for 20 years. She was a very hard worker and had a lot of regulars who loved her. She was an outgoing and fun person who was kind and unselfish. She was known for her good heart and generous spirit. Her laugh was one of a kind. You could always know by the smirk on her face that she was up something. She was a very strong woman who battled cancer for 2 years and now she doesn’t have to struggle anymore. Kathleen was a wonderful daughter to her parents; she always made sure they were taken care of. Her family was the most important thing to her she loved to spend time with and cook for them, they loved her turkey dinners. Kathleen also loved the outdoors, she would spend time in her garden and would can the fruits of her labor. She loved to go fishing. She loved dogs and always had them as pets. Holly’s dog, Domino, was known as her grand-puppy. She will be forever loved by all who knew and loved her.
Kathleen will be deeply missed by her fiancé of 35 years, Cory Kraft, Mandan; daughter, Holly Wilson, Mandan and son, Joseph Wilson, Mandan. Anna Marie Kraft, Fiancés mother.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Krista Wilson; sister, JoAnn Wilson and brother, Michael Fetch.
