Jodi Schlosser

Jodi Schlosser, 64, Mandan, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, in her home after a short battle with cancer. 

Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, ND. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Women of the Moose Ritual at 6:30 PM and prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will take place in the Mandan Union Cemetery.

Jodi was born on November 2, 1959, in Mandan, North Dakota. Jodi attended school in Mandan, graduating from Mandan High School in 1978. Jodi attended Bismarck Junior College before entering the workforce.

On April 4^th, 1994, Jodi married Marvin Schlosser. The two bought a home in north Mandan where they raised their son, Levi, and daughter, Hannah.

Jodi was an animal lover starting with her Irish Setter, Kelly, and spanning many dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, lizards, and even a hedgehog. Jodi loved music, learning to play flute and piano as a child. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Jodi’s memory will be cherished by her husband, Marvin; son, Levi Schlosser; daughter, Hannah Schlosser; sisters-in-law, Joyce (Steve) Howry, Judy Burns, Darcy Hurley; brothers-in-law, Darell (Elaine), Ernie (Pam), Harvey (Nancy), Bernie (Susan) Schlosser; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and two great great nieces.

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Christine (Wolf) Whiteman; father-and-mother-in-law, Val and Doreen Schlosser; brothers-in-law, Rodney, Scott, Tim, and Terry Schlosser and Ron Burns; and nephew, RJ Burns.
