Irene had a strong work ethic and devoted herself to taking care of the three men in her life: Larry, Bruce and Steve. Irene’s greatest pride was her family, especially her grandchildren. She lived a life enjoying the simple things. Irene and Larry spent much of their time watching a variety of sports including golf, football, baseball and basketball. She was an avid fan of Michael Jordan and never missed an opportunity to make her football picks. Irene was a grandma who was always up for playing games and will be missed for her stash of goodies, scotcharoos and homemade caramel rolls. Her spirit was one of kindness, gentleness and generosity, endearing her to everyone who knew her. Irene showed us the meaning of love, honesty, integrity, and offered support whenever needed. Much loved and loving, a true friend with a ready smile and laugh, Irene will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
