Helen Marie Muller

Helen Marie (Ereth) Muller, 91, passed away July 30, 2024, at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, ND, with Rev. Keith Streifel as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. 

Helen Marie (Ereth) Muller was born in Tribune, Saskatchewan, Canada, on March 16, 1933, to Ludwig and Catherine (Schnieder) Ereth. She grew up and was educated in Torquay, SK, Canada. In January 1959, Helen moved to Mandan, ND. She moved to Sidney, MT, in 1966 until 1977 at which time she returned to Mandan, ND. In 1988, Helen moved to Billings, MT, until July 2014 when she returned to Bismarck and has since resided. 

Helen worked for Sears in Bismarck, ND and Billings, MT. She also worked at the Billings Clinic and Hospital and various other jobs until retiring at the age of 81. Helen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, baking and attending parades. She had a real passion for dancing also. 

Helen will be deeply missed by her daughter, Cathy Christensen; sons, Dan (Sheri), Ken (Lori), Bert (Diane), Henry, and Ardeen; eight grandchildren, Brendon (Carrie) Christensen, Brian (Elissa), Brady (Katie) and Daine (Jane) Muller, Bryce and Cole (Caitlyn) Muller, Kyleigh Muller, and Andren (Shawnee) Muller; nine great-grandchildren, Sarah and Maddie Christensen, Aurelia Muller, Camrie and Hallie Muller, Brooklynn Muller and Nevaeh Reed, Taysen and Titan Muller; and sister, Emily Friess. 

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Brianna Muller; four brothers, Wendel, Joe, Louie, and Alex Ereth; and four sisters, Frances Emmel, Anna Gervais, Kay Ereth, and Eileen Jahraus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
