Glenn Edward Bauer, 54, of Mandan, passed away peacefully at his home June 22, 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Mandan on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:30 am, with Rev. Nick Schneider as celebrant. Inurnment will be at the Mandan Union Cemetery following services. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Glenn was born December 13, 1960, in Bismarck, to Joseph and Perpetua (Schlosser) Bauer. Glenn was raised on the family farm near Mandan along with 9 brothers and sisters and continued working and living there until the time of his death. He was educated in Mandan. Glenn loved living out in the country on the farm. He also loved visiting with his immediate family, friends, and neighbors. Glenn had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke which many times he would start the conversation with one. Being an outdoors man, loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his brothers, Dewayne (Elaine), Charles (Lois) and Harold (Agnes), all of Mandan; his sisters, Linda Kraft, Bismarck, Lila (Joe) Kuntz, Solen, Marie (Jack) Friedt, Gladys Kahl, and Alice Bauer, all of Mandan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Perpetua Bauer; brother, David, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
