Eugene A. Emineth, 68, Center, ND died September 28, 2014 at his residence in Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Center, ND with Rev. Selva Periannan as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm..

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Center with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Gene was born to Martin and Mary (Hatzenbihler) Emineth on August 15, 1946 in New Salem, ND. He was raised and educated in Center. He married LaVerne Blotsky on September 24, 1966 in Bismarck, ND.

Gene was an Equipment Operator by trade and retired in 2008 after 31 years with BNI Coal. He was a very talented wood worker and carpenter. He would share his talent for carpentry freely and would help whenever called upon. He spent many hours on the river fishing in his boat and pontoon. Gene enjoyed gardening, hunting for deer and pheasant, golf and traveling throughout the United States. Gene had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family who will all miss him dearly especially his grandchildren.

Eugene will be deeply missed by his wife, LaVerne, Center, ND; sons, Roger (Tracie), Ronny both of Bismarck, ND and Ryan of Mandan; 5 grandchildren, Kaylee, Bryce, Alyssa, Sara and Leah Emineth; sisters, Francie (Warren) Humphrey, Bonneau, SC, Dora (Dave) Boyd, Minot, ND, Joyce (Adam) Ressler, Apple Valley, MN, Karen (Bruce) Winn, Washburn, ND and La Vern (Dave) Holkup, Wilton, ND; brothers, Terrance (Virginia), Wilton, ND, Richard (special friend, Vicki), Michigan and Mervin (Kelly), Mandan and brother-in-law, Tim Geiger, Center, ND., along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Donna Geiger.
