Eugene Boehm

Eugene R. Boehm, 77, of Mandan, passed away November 12, 2018, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Jarad Wolf as celebrant.  Burial will follow the service at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Eugene R. Boehm was born April 17, 1941 to Alex and Elizabeth (Matz) Boehm in Mandan, ND.  He married Vivian Morrell on October 30, 1961 in St. Anthony, ND.

Eugene worked for various commercial construction companies, most recently NW Contracting which he retired from in 2010. He was always very proud of his work, especially the work done at St. Alexius.  Camping and the occasional trips to the casinos were always great fun.  He was a proud member of Knights of Columbus, Mandan Eagles, Mandan Moose, and a scout master for 10 years.

Eugene will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Vivian; daughters, Colleen Boehm of Bismarck, ND, Shelley (John) Brower of Emerado, ND, Sherry (Craig) McDade of Florence, AZ, and Rhonda (Lester) Lund of Bismarck, ND; sons, Jarvis of Mandan, ND, Kevin (Cynthia) of Grand Forks, ND, and Darren (Joyce) of Wilmington, MA; 17 grandchildren, Cory, Justin, Crystal, Sapphire, Pearl, Jade, Alex, Virginia, Sebastian, Dominick, Nicholas, Kimber, Macy, Anthony, Robert, Kameron, and Carter; brothers, Frank (Angie) of Mandan, ND, and Phillip (Cecelia) of Mandan, ND; brother- in-law, Julius Beehler of Mandan, ND; sisters-in-law, Irene Boehm of Billings, MT, Lucille Boehm of New Salem, ND, and Alice Boehm of Bismarck, ND; and special friends, Allen and Arlene Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Lottie (Richard) Pitzer, Angie Beehler, Rose (Leonard) Pitzer, and Mary (Don) Suchy; brothers, Joe, Clemence, Mike (Lorraine), and Tom.
