Dennis Glaser, 84, Mandan, died December 18, 2023, at CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, with Deacon Randy Frohlich officiating. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Cremation has taken place and the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
Dennis was born October 30, 1939, in Tuttle, ND, to Albert and Clara (Leno) Glaser. He graduated from Tuttle High School and was drafted into the US Marine Corp, serving from 1957-1959. In 1961 he married Lorraine Gratz at Christ the King Catholic Church in Mandan. They made their home in Mandan where they raised their three children. Dennis worked at the Mandan Creamery, Cloverdale, the ICI at the power plants, and later at the Mandan Eagles for over 25 years until finally retiring. He was a member of Christ the King Church and later St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan. Dennis loved the outdoors, specifically hunting, fishing, and being in his yard. He enjoyed trips to the casino and watching sports, especially Nascar.
Blessed to have shared in his life is his wife of 62 years, Lorraine Glaser, Mandan; three sons, Terry, Mandan, Jeff (Michelle) Lincoln, and Tim (Ronda), Mandan; three grandchildren, Mathew Glaser, Lauren (Michael) Schmidt, and Terra Solberg; three siblings, Arnold (Vonda) Glaser, Robert (Rose) Glaser, and Barbara Fleckenstein; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ardell (Helen) Glaser.
