David “Tuffy” Leingang, 58, Beulah, ND, formerly of Mandan, died September 14, 2014 at Sakakawea Medical Center in Hazen, ND.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Deacon Bob Wingenbach presiding. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be at Weigel Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
David was born on May 13, 1956 in Bismarck, ND to Edward A. and Rosemary (Eckroth) Leingang. He was raised and educated in Mandan. Dave, even though everyone called him Tuffy, led a simple life and was a quiet man whose gentle nature and easygoing attitude made him shy away from the spotlight. He loved the outdoors and worked for many area ranchers. Tuffy liked rodeo’s and was generous with his time to help whenever needed. He was a union painter and worked for the power plant.
Dave will be deeply missed by his brothers, Dan (Debbie), Salt Lake City, Ut., Dick (Gail), Mandan, ND, Jeff (Norma), Baldwin, ND and Kevin (Shelley), Ft. Collins, Co along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
