Daryl Jorgenson, 45, Mandan, passed away September 20, 2016 at The Cancer Treatments Center of America in Zion, IL after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Marvin Klemmer as celebrant. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Daryl was born on January 11, 1971 to Robert and Theresa (Laturnus) Jorgenson in Langdon, ND. He was raised and educated in the McClusky area.

Daryl married June Landsiedel on June 22, 1996. Together they had one son, Reese Jorgenson and 3 stepchildren Sam, Victoria, and Amanda. Daryl was employed at Mandan Tire for 25 plus years, which he enjoyed greatly. He met and made many great friends throughout the years. Daryl and Reese also had their own tire recycling business and serviced and repaired trucks, which gave them the opportunity to spend a great amount of time together, which Daryl loved.

Daryl enjoyed motocross racing, fishing, camping, snowmobiling or anything he could do with the family.

Daryl will be greatly missed by his wife, June of 20 years; son Reese, Mandan ND; stepchildren, Sam (Becky) Buchmann, Manning ND, Victoria (John) Wolf, Hettinger ND, and Amanda (Nathan) Strid, Hettinger ND; 3 grandchildren, Ellie, Hadley, and Annie; parents, Theresa and Robert Jorgenson, McClusky ND; brothers, Douglas, Island Park, ID, and David, McClusky ND; sister, Lisa (Dave) Elverud, Devils Lake, ND; grandmother, Opal Jorgenson, Devils Lake, ND; father-in-law, Larry (Alma), Baldwin ND; mother-in-law, Sharon Landsiedel, Wishek ND; sister-in-law, Jenny Bloom, Mandan ND; brother-in-law, Jay (Kerry) Landsiedel, Regan ND; nieces and nephews, Nichole, Devin, Derek, Danyel, Cole, Amy, and Ashley.

Daryl was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold Jorgenson and Frank and Alice Laturnus.
