Daniel E. Fleck, 45, Monticello, MN, died September 1, 2015 at residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan, ND with Rev. Christopher Kadrmas as celebrant. Inurnment will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour before the service at the church.
Danny was born on January 22, 1970 to Edward and Marlene (Berger) Fleck in Edina, MN. Who was Danny? He was a guy who worked hard, paid his bills and led and honest life. He enjoyed the simple things. He was a great athlete (Wrestling, baseball, and hockey) that’s for sure! He had the gift of gab. He made people laugh, he was quick witted, had a joke for everyone. Nicknames were his forte. He loved to cook and fish. Listening to the classics on KQ92. A real homer. Supporting all his Minnesota sports teams and listening to his other favorite KFAN. He was compassionate. If you were struggling and needed a place to stay… no worries, Danny’s door was open. A couch to sleep on, a warm meal to eat and a hot shower all included till you got your feet back on the ground.
Danny was one of the good ones, we love you, we will miss you and we will never forget you and one of your favorite good-byes, “Over Here.”
Danny will be deeply missed by his mother, Marlene Fleck, Maple Grove, MN; sisters, Rhonda (Steve) Jennings, Eden Prairie, MN and Robin (John) Olsen, Maple Grove, MN; brother, David Fleck, Maple Grove, MN; nephew, Nigel Hoyt and nieces, Jordan and Jaden.
Danny was preceded in death by his dad, Ed who died this past August.
