Clara Bullinger

Clara Bullinger, 92, died July 9th, at the Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo ND.  A mass with christian burial will be held at St. Jospeh's Catholic Church, Mandan, ND, on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 10:30AM.  Burial will take place following service at the church at the Mandan Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to mass.

Clara was born October 26, 1927 and grew up in Solen, ND where she attended school. On August 24, 1948 Clara married Leo J. Bullinger at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mandan.

They made their home in Mandan, where she lived until she moved to Fargo, ND, September 2012, to be closer to her son. Clara was very active in the church, singing in the choir, and attended church faithfully.  Her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed being a home maker and enjoyed being a mom and a grandmother.

She had a great circle of friends and  family which meant a lot to her.  While at Villa Maria, Clara required a telephone that would have long distance to stay connected with those in Mandan. She continued to make new friends while at Villa Maria. A special thanks to the staff at Villa Maria for the great care and companionship.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Denise) Bullinger, and two grandchildren Jessica Bullinger and Evan Bullinger.

Due to COVID, there will be no lunch or fellowship following the service.
