Charles “Chuck” Wentz, 71 Mandan, died Good Friday, April, 18, 2014 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
Per Chuck’s request there will be no services. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Charles Eddie Wentz was born on December 8, 1942 in Birmingham, WA. Chuck was raised in Fort Bragg and Hayward, CA. He graduated from Hayward High School in 1960.
Chuck love hunting and fast cars. He became a journeyman for Operating Engineers and ran the oil truck. He was a delivery driver until he opened his own pickle business, United Foods. He moved to Mandan in 1985 and worked at United Tribes Technical College.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his daughter, Denise Wentz; grandson, Joshua Springer; aunts, Leah Kazarian and Harriett Widger; sister-in-law, Elaine Wentz; nieces, Kathy Goulet, Jayme Bauer, Kelly Goulet, Jayme Bauer, Kelly Raynor, Jessica Mills and nephew, Doug Wentz.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Virginia Wentz; brothers, Harold “Jim” Wentz and George Wentz
