Annette was born on March 15, 1941 to Pete and Margaret (Lauinger) Ripplinger in Mandan, ND where she was raised.
In her early years she worked at the Dairy Queen in Mandan where all the young kids loved her. After becoming a mom, she enjoyed devoting her time to raising kids. She later worked at Kmart as a greeter and at Brighton’s until her retirement.
Annette was very close to her grandchildren, they were her top priority. Every one of them knew that Grandma was always available for a call or a visit to iron out life’s problems. Her door was always open with a pot of coffee waiting to welcome family and friends. She loved the outdoors, camping, gardening, canning, crafts, crochet, and was an accomplished artist. There were many beautiful items she gifted to her family and friends.
