Annette Greff

Annette R. Greff, 50, Glen Ullin, ND passed away on March 3, 2015 at CHI St. Alexius surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, ND with Rev. Jeff Zwack as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in rural Glen Ullin.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, ND with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 5:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Annette was born April 14, 1964 to Leonard and Elaine (Jochim) Veitenheimer and raised on the family farm and educated in the St. Joseph area.

Annette married Perry Greff on September 4, 1981, and raised four children in Glen Ullin. They ran the sanitation service together with Annette taking over full time in 2007. In 2014 they retired the business so Annette could pursue interior design.

In 2000 the family moved out to Annette's family farm where she renovated the home. Annette loved to be outdoors. Over the last three years she hand planted over 300 trees around the farm. She also loved going to garage sales, second hand stores, and antique shops. Annette enjoyed sewing, playing cards, traveling, and gardening.

Annette was a hard-working and vivacious woman who was always ready for a good time. She had a wonderful personality, and she made everyone she met feel special. Annette had a smile and laugh that was contagious, she was loved by all, and will be deeply missed.

Annette is survived by her husband of 34 years, Perry of Glen Ullin; her children: Derrick of Spring TX; Delvin of Glen Ullin; Rachel (Casey) Helling of Golden Valley and Lucas (Kayla Wetzel) of Bismarck; three sisters, Gwendolyn Lantz of Gladstone; Doreen Veitenheimer of Yakima Washington; Bev (Clint) Feland of Bismarck and one brother, Curtis (Carol) Veitenheimer of Post Falls Idaho and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant sister Marion and a grandchild, Gunner Greff.

Annette will always be remembered and never forgotten.
