Ann P. Reinhardt, 85, Mandan, died November 27, 2014 at Sanford Continuing Care Center off Sunset in Mandan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Mandan, ND. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 from 3:00-9:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home, with a Rosary/Parish Vigil at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Ann was born on September 19, 1929 to Pius and Lydia (Kessler) Usselman in Hazen, ND. She was raised and educated in the Hazen and Stanton, ND areas. Ann attended country schools through the 8th grade. She married Eldor Reinhardt on October 22, 1948 in Hazen, ND.
Ann was a wonderful cook and could use that talent for her career as a cook at Heartview Foundation, which she did for 25 years. She was a kind hearted and loving person that would help anyone in need, she took care of her infant nephew for 6 weeks while his mother was recuperating in the hospital and after her discharge she continued on, cooking, cleaning and taking care of the baby until the mother was able to do it herself. She made the best cookies in the world and she would share them with all, especially the people that helped her by driving her places, picking up groceries and prescriptions for her and taking her to church. She was very grateful for all the help she received from her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. Ann had a very good sense of humor even when she was sick. She was a very social person and enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. Ann belonged to the Eagles Auxiliary, Christ the King Catholic Church and would volunteer at MedCenter One coffee shop.
Ann will be deeply missed by her sons, Dave (Karla) and Jim (Karen), Sedona, AZ, Bismarck, ND; 4 grandchildren, Mike and Tom Reinhardt, Tina Anderson and Tracey Reinhardt and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sally (Douglas) Sailer, Mandan, ND, Judy (Jeff) Hayden, Hazen, ND and Clieve Rice, St. Anthony, Idaho; brothers, Marvin (Doris) Usselman, Hazen, ND and George Usselman, Bakersfield, CA along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Eldor in 1991; parents; sister, Josie (Hank) Serr; brother, Vincent (Ruth) and sister-in-law, Irene.
