Ann Braun, 93, Mandan, passed away April 17, 2017 at St. Vincent Care Center in Bismarck.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, ND with Deacon Steve Brannon officiating. Burial will be at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Ann was born on October 1, 1923 to Peter and Anna (Bullinger) Miller in St. Anthony, ND. Ann was raised and educated in the St. Anthony area. She married George Braun on September 29, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan. They made their home and raised their children in the Bismarck-Mandan area where they were very active at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bismarck. Ann worked at Capital Laundry for many years.
Ann will be deeply missed by daughters, Paula (Luke) Schmidt, Mandan, ND and Judy (Gary) Davis, Bismarck, ND; sons, Dennis (Fiancé, Sonya), Bismarck, ND, Michael, Bismarck, ND, Jim, Bloomington, MN and Tom (Dawn) Bismarck, ND; numerous grandchildren and brother, Edward Miller, Puyallup, WA.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Anna; husband, George who died on December 18, 2000 after 52 years of marriage; sisters, Clara Schmidt and Rose Koch; brothers, Nick, John, Ralph, Jack and Joe.
