Angeline Mae (Angie) Schafer, 91, Mandan, passed away October 16, 2017 at her residence.
Angie was born to John and Magdelena (Brown) Jochim January 21, 1926. She was born and raised in Flasher, ND. She married Alexander N. Schafer June 23, 1947 in Flasher. She and Alex proudly raised their 11 children in Mandan where they called home since 1949. Angie was the true example of love to others and unwavering selflessness. She unknowingly touched others with her loving charm, the wink of her eye and her endless hugs and kisses. Celebrating 70 years of marriage with Alex defined their mighty true commitment and perfect display of their endless love story. Angie is an angel in the shape of our mom, grandma, great grandma, mother in law, and wife. When we fell down, she’d be there holding us up. Mom spread your wings as you go, and when God takes you back we will sing HALLELUJAH – YOU’RE HOME!
